Jodie
ENDOMETRIOSIS + GENDER SPECIALIST

Jodie is the Founder of Endometriosis South Coast and a PHD Student.

Jodie has dedicated her life to improving the quality of care for people living with Endo. Often misdiagnosed or dismissed, Endo is a debilitating disease which Jodie lives with herself. In 2019 she founded the charity Endometriosis South Coast which supports thousands of people living with Endo and Adenomyosis.

Jodie discovered that marginalised groups face even greater barriers to care and thus suffer poorer outcomes. Her research will provide the framework for health care providers to improve the way they diagnose and treat all patients, including those who identify as trans and non-binary.

In 2023 she presented her research at the World Congress on Endometriosis.
